Completed Renovations

Maintenance and improvement measures have been carried out continuously during the life time of the yacht. In recent years these measures have been extended to constitute actual renovations. This work has comprised all technical aspects as machinery, hull, electrical system, deck equipment, navigating aids, interior decorating, etc. Below, a number of the most important renovations, that have been carried out in recent years, are listed:

·         New watermaker installed (Minimar), 2005

·         The windlass (Maxwell) renovated in 2006 & 2014

·         Completely new electrical system installed in 2008; 11 utility batteries (gel)

·         Gas piping renovated in 2009

·         New propeller shaft in 2012

·         New upholstery for sofas and mattresses in 2012

·         New radar, Garmin GMR 18 in 2013

·         New GPS Plotter (Garmin 7012) for navigation site (below) in 2013

·         New GPS Plotter for cockpit (Garmin 7120S) in 2013

·         New teak deck (0.5’’ / 12 mm) including cockpit

·         Floorboards in cockpit repaired in 2014

·         Steering pedestal spray painted in 2014

·         Floor board repairs in Owner’s Cabin in 2014

·         New control unit for windlass in 2014

·         New bow thruster in 2014

·         All hull penetrators switched to new ones with electrical monitoring in 2014

·         New electric macerator toilet system with stainless steel holdingtank in 2014

·         New electrically controlled valve system for holdingtank lock in 2014

·         New wooden linings in forepeak 2014

·         Basic lacquering of all wooden details on deck (12 layers) in 2014

·         Cleaning o fresh water system in 2014

·         New locking devices on all deck hatches fitted in 2014

·         New pump installed for washdown of deck in 2014

·         New UV protection fitted to foresails in 2014

·         New seats installed on pushpit; port & starboard aft in 2014

·         12 new gel batteries (11 +1) installed in 2014

·         New life raft acquired for 8 people in 2014

                                           

New teak deck being laid out; 0.5’’ / 12 mm teak ribs. Includes cockpit and the after part of scarn deck.

Newly laid deck and freshly lacquered wooden frames. New locking devices for all deck hatches.

New bow thruster. New floorboarding in the forepeak. New sturdy wooden shelves and wooden linings on inner hull sides in the forepeak.

Renovated steering pedestal – spray painted. Renovated binnacle and newly reviewed compass (C Plath). New control device for bow thruster. Renovated teak floorboards in cockpit. New teak on seats in cockpit.
